About the ERSL

Who are We?

The EMSA District Soccer League (ERSL) is a non-profit organization in Eastern Ontario that provides soccer competitions to our Member Clubs. We pride ourselves on helping to grow the game of soccer in Eastern and Southeastern Ontario.

We were formed in 2002 and currently operate the Regional youth competition on behalf of Ontario Soccer, spanning the Districts of Southeastern Ontario and Eastern Ontario. We also welcome teams from Western Quebec on an annual basis.

How Can YOU Play In the ERSL?

In order to play in the ERSL you must enroll with one of our Member Clubs and join a team that earns a spot in our League. At the conclusion of each season the top teams from the District Competitions in our Region are offered promotion into Regional.

What Can YOU Achieve by Playing in the ERSL?

Our U13-U17 Season Champions compete at the Ontario Regional Championship each Fall representing the ERSL against the Regional division champions from our sister leagues across the province.

Competition Specifics:

The ERSL serves two Districts, Eastern Ontario District Soccer Association (EODSA - Ottawa area) and Southeast Ontario Soccer Association (SOSA – Brockville-Belleville-Kingston areas). We also welcome Clubs from Soccer Northeast through play-in permission, and Soccer Outaouais through inter-provincial approval.

The ERSL is an Associate Member of, and governed by Ontario Soccer.
